Q&A with PB2 lover and blogger, Sandra Mihic

At PB2, we love hearing from our fans and followers. We enjoy learning about the new recipes you all create, about the unique ways you use PB2, and how PB2 has made your lives easier and healthier. That’s why we spoke with Sandra Mihic of the blog Sandra’s Easy Cooking. Sandra focuses on budget-friendly recipes that are very easy for people of all skill levels in the kitchen to prepare. She started Sandra’s Easy Cooking in September 2010, to show how easy it is to prepare healthy and balanced home-cooked meals while still enjoying quality time with the family. Sandra has been a PB2 lover for years now and recently has also been a partner of PB2’s for recipe creation. Some of her recipes include Peanut Butter Chocolate Waffles, Tofu and Veggie Stir-Fry with Peanut Butter Sauce, and Nutella Rolls.

1. Tell us about yourself and your background.

I was a professional tailor and designer. However, I have been a food blogger and photographer for the last 10 years and a videographer for almost six years now. I really became passionate about food blogging, so I turned my hobby into a real job – a huge career change. I am also a mom of three teens and a wife, so life is quite busy in my household.

2. When shopping for a new product, what do you typically look for on the ingredients label?

I look for a product with fewer ingredients. Also, organic and non-GMO play a big role.

3. What is the biggest struggle you often face with a new product in the kitchen?

I don’t really struggle too much when it comes to creating something with a new product. I have a very creative mind, especially in the kitchen, and always have multiple visions before working with a product. Occasionally, a recipe doesn’t go the way I want it to, but I often have a plan B.

4. Why is PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter such a game-changer? What’s your favorite thing about PB2?

This peanut butter is a game changer specifically because it’s so versatile. You can use it in baked goods, smoothies, and sweet or savory recipes without having to deal with a sticky mess. Also, the cleanup process is convenient and way easier.

5. How does PB2 help you in the kitchen?

Just like many other foods, PB2 helps me cook at home and have complete control – for example, it helps me manage how many proteins I take in. PB2 also makes it easier for me to make better choices. I can use it to make a smoothie or similar item, instead of grabbing something unhealthy.

6. What is your favorite PB2 product?

PB2 with Cocoa and PB2 Organic. I love them both!

7. What is your favorite PB2 recipe?

That has to be my PB2 Gluten-Free Chocolate Waffles, which I have made many times for my family and friends. Also, PB2 in a chocolate almond milk and banana smoothie is absolutely amazing.
